Caitlyn is a young South African girl who came to Geraldine, New Zealand with her family - looking for new life. Her parents both have jobs, are paying taxes and have become part of their local community. The Immigration Department have approved visa's for the parents and Caitlyn's brother to stay in New Zealand but have refused Caitlyn's application because she has some health issues. Since coming to New Zealand her health has improved and her parents are determined that she will not be a burden to this country.
Where is New Zealand's compassion and caring when such a young child could be so disadvantaged by Immigration NZ's decision.
